Railcar Repair Services

Servicing railcars since 1990, our team provides repair and maintenance solutions for railroads, leasing companies and private shippers.

Some of our Railcar Services include:

Inbound and outbound switching five days a week by our serving carriers Alton and Southern Railroad (100% UP subsidiary) and Norfolk Southern Railroad. Local freight connections with UP, CSXT, CNIC, KCS, BNSF and TRRA.
Full recovery Hoffman steel shot blast and Hoffman paint rooms. Black Beauty nonferrous blast media used for M-970 multilevel certification work.
Single and plural component paint systems are currently in use on interior linings, (food grade, fertilizer, salt and agricultural) as well as exterior paint applications. Current paint/lining suppliers include Carboline, Ameron, Sherwin Williams, Dupont, Williams-Hayward, Hempel, Davis-Frost and Valspar.
Interior and exterior cleaning is performed in MEI wash facility, along with subcontractor responsible for the recovery and proper disposal of all products cleaned from cars.
We repair all car types and perform all work scopes other than the following- tank cars, plastic pellet car linings.
On site storage capacity- 850 cars, supplemented by off site lease track.
